From occasional use to full-time sanding, there is a sanding solution for you. The first thing to consider is the number of hours you will be using the equipment for.

For occasional users or first timers, a WallPro Extender Sander would do with a low entry price point, it would get the job done but you will need to be mindful to wear dust protection.

For Residential plasterers sanding once a week, a WallPro PS 1000 would be better suited with longer durability and better design for longer use.

For every day Residential Sanders, you will need a lightweight Mirka Solution with at least an L Class vacuum like the 1125 L PC Mirka. This is just a must have.

For Commercial Sanders who need to comply with the regulations, a M Class system is the way to go with two options available in the Festool system or a Mirka system with a 1230 M AFC vacuum.

Even if you are sanding one or 30 hours a week, you will need a system rated to suit your job specifications. We recommend to compare the Festool or Mirka systems in this case. Anything with a lower specification could potentially result on fines and/or health issues.

Time is Money - low priced equipment will leave a lower quality finish with swirl marks having to pole sand the job after using the sander, taking longer to get an acceptable finish.

Dustless equipment is usually more expensive but it means you are better protected to health risk of exposure to dust, particularly hazardous over a period of time.

Lightweight equipment is usually more expensive but puts less stress in the body allowing you more longevity in the trade.
